Brown sugar is considered healthy, and making caramel sauce with the brown sugar is not only a healthy choice, by also tastes better than the commercial caramel sauce. If you take brown sugar, corn syrup, and some water, put them in a bowl that needs to be microwave-safe, then microwave, and you will see the sugar starts melting at around 320 – 350°F. Once you see the syrup turns golden, add cream and unsalted butter. Some people like to add lemon juice for a distinctive taste, and some prefer condensed milk because this combination tastes better.
