Nowadays, printed menus are found rarely in new restaurants and they prefer the digital version online. There is a desk stand placed on each table and it has a QR code to scan to access the digital version of the menu. From there you can select items and order. Desk stands can also be used as menus. If the restaurant provides a special food item they can display it on the table menu stand so people can read and order. These table stands are also used for reservation and table numbers.
