Glass jars are mostly used for medicines and medicated creams that need to be kept in a cold place as well as protected from sunlight and especially UV rays. They are smaller in size, and their cap can be tightened after first usage. The only problem with glass jars is that if they are dropped accidentally, they can break into pieces. This is the main reason that tin jars and plastic jars are used for creams, gels, ointments, and medicated oils. On the other hand, plastic jars are safe and lighter. They can be carried in the hand carry bag and if you have a frequent dry skin and need an ointment then either a tube or plastic jar would be better choice and easily be carried.
